Barry Kirby Elected President Elect of the CIEHF Image

K Sharp is proud to announce that our Managing Director, Barry Kirby, has been elected as the President Elect of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF). Barry is delighted to have been given this opportunity and looks forward to working with the CIEHF staff, members, and volunteers to raise the profile of ergonomics and human factors.

As President Elect, Barry will spend a year supporting Alex Stedmon in his role as President before taking on the President's Medal himself in April 2023. Barry's passion for the field of human factors and ergonomics, coupled with his extensive experience in the industry, makes him the perfect candidate for this prestigious position.

Barry has been an active member of the CIEHF for a number of years and has served in various roles within the organization. His election as President Elect is a testament to his dedication and commitment to promoting the field of ergonomics and human factors, as well as his leadership skills and expertise.

The CIEHF is a professional organization that represents the interests of ergonomists and human factors professionals in the UK. The organization aims to raise the profile of ergonomics and human factors, promote the benefits of good design, and improve safety and performance across a range of industries and domains.

As President Elect, Barry will work closely with the CIEHF to achieve these objectives and raise awareness of the importance of ergonomics and human factors in improving people's lives.  The K Sharp team is proud of Barry's achievements and is excited about the impact he will have in his new role. We look forward to seeing the positive changes he will bring to the field of ergonomics and human factors and wish him the very best of luck in his new position.

Barry's election as President Elect is a significant achievement, and we are confident that he will make a valuable contribution to the CIEHF and the industry as a whole.
