K Sharp Co-Founder Barry Kirby’s 1202 – Human Factors Podcast has been highly commended in the Outstanding Communications Award category at the 2021 CIEHF Awards.

The podcast – which was launched in September 2019 – has quickly gained a loyal following among the Human Factors community. And this latest recognition by the CIEHF will help the go-to ergonomics podcast gain even more publicity within the industry.

“I’m delighted that the 1202 podcast was highly commended in the CIEHF Awards,” said Barry Kirby.

“It’s great recognition of what I am trying to do in raising awareness of our discipline.”

To date, the podcast has over 4,250 downloads and, despite initially targeting a UK audience, has quickly gained a worldwide following – with listeners tuning in from as far afield as the USA, Australia, and New Zealand.

Today, 1202 - The Human Factors is one of the world’s most popular and trusted HF podcasts – and its recognition at the 2021 CIEHF Awards will help extend the podcast’s profile and popularity even further.

New episodes of the podcast will be launching later this year – and with past guests including key influencers from NASA, UK Space Agency, and CCD Design, the bar has already been set exceptionally high.
